Paving
About 80% of the work we do is paving, so it’s safe to say JLH Landscapes has mastered the art of laying pavers. We lay all types of pavers, including clay brick and concrete pavers, terracotta tiles and natural stones, including bluestone, sandstone, granite and travertine. There are multiple ways to lay a paver, our preferred method involves a concrete foundation. We consider this to be the backbone of the paving, so its important to get this step right. We always ensure the concrete is reinforced with the required reinforcement mesh. Once the slab stage is complete, the laying process begins, we set the pavers on a mortar bed, which is then grouted. This technique provides a quality and long-lasting result.
